Jack was CABH's first therapy dog. He was a loving, scrappy, and devoted Airedale Terrier who worked for ten years at CABH with Dr. Hasler. Jack started working at CABH when he was two - providing a decade of service to children throughout the St. Louis region; he retired officially on his 12th birthday. He loved to show off his tricks to new and returning patients at CABH in order to earn treats. He greeted individuals and families either through the check-in window or in the waiting room in between appointments. He was named after the main character in the Rick Riordan book series Percy Jackson and the Olympians. Jack believed that women's purses are for carrying dog treats as he discovered many a tasty snack in women's purses over the years! Jack loved to teach children who are afraid of dogs how to become less afraid and know how to handle themselves with new dogs. Jack taught Dobby how to be a therapy dog and spent his retirement until his death raising Remy and teaching him how to be loving, friendly, and a bit mischievous. He was a beloved part of our office and hearts.
